Count-Hoenhiem Gehanna Group 1

Here are some concept designs I did of Count-Hoenhiem’s Paragon Villains, the Gehanna Group [link] based on his character descriptions and some additional insight he shared with me.

As with the Paragon designs I did [link] I tried to unify this motley crew with colors and a symbol. The Chairman is a corporate type so, I figure, branding would be important to him. The Warlord’s past inspired the arm bands.

Warlord – A stoic, iconic, Aryan Nazi superhuman who always levitates around putting himself above his inferiors, which is everyone in his hate filled, glowing eyes.

Charybdis – I went for feral appearance, with clawed hands and feet. Retractable claws, as mentioned in his description, always make me think of Wolverine and anyone with claws like that feels like a Wolverine knockoff. An altered muzzle mask reveals his large maw of teeth. A facial mutation like that would affect his face, hence the scarring. This power set says that he gets his hands dirty, hence the blood.

Scylla – Punk rocker becoming mist.

Croatoan – At first, I tried an undertaker look, but he looked like a generic zombie, nothing special. When I read disease, I think doctor and that is where the white suit came from. He is diseased, not corrosive and he works for a corporate backed organization, so he should have a nice suit, not moth eaten rags. The domino mask? The diseases make him crazy, so he demanded that I put one on him.

The Chairman – Two versions: his true, large-headed mutate form AND the imposing mental projection that he hides behind.
