IOTA 1996-2011 by DBed IOTA 1996-2011 by DBed
Flipping through my archived work from yesteryear, I have rediscovered some gems that need some modern reinterpretation.

Another Greek letter character from the 90’s, 1996 to be exact, IOTA!

The original design was kind of blah, so I played around with his energy-ness and flames and arrived at a character reminiscent of Dr. Manhattan.

“IOTA was the ninth successful soldier to come out Project Phoenix, or rise from the Augmented Super Human Experimental Soldier (A.S.H.E.S.) program. Like the other test subjects, the identity of the soldier, this time an accomplished airman, who gave their body to the Project, was struck from the records. He is now simply, Agent Iota. The anonymous airman’s body was submerged in experimental chemicals in the hopes of creating an energy-wielding flying soldier. While the technicians of the A.S.H.E.S. program got what they wished for, IOTA cannot turn off his energy, which constantly sheathes his body in a mysterious cool flame. IOTA now fights along side his fellow Agents of the Phoenix, protecting our country against threats too dangerous for normal men to handle.”

He's pretty cool! I like the dynamic pose and physique of the little sketch too.

love him and keep the trunks, especially since Superman seems to be giving them up.
