11 - One-Man

For this year’s 30 Characters in 30 Days challenge [link] , I decided to try something different from my massive day-by-day story of characters that I put together last year [link]. Inspired by the incomparable AXE COP, I decided to turn the creative reins over to my 3 year old son. I wrote out the alphabet and had him create a character for each letter. He told me about the new superhero and guided me on their designs. It should be noted that all word balloon dialogue was also created by my three year old. So here we go, in no particular order…

ONE-MAN

After consulting the alphabet with my son and asking which letter he wanted to do next, he said “one.” He has one head, one leg, one arm, one finger and one eye. I dodged a bullet when he decided that “One-Man” would be a robot… the anatomy of a human One-Man would be rough.

Though he picked a number instead of a letter, I cheated a little and spelled his name to get the letter “O” checked off of the superhero alphabet.
