I went for classic, Silver Age roguish cheesiness for this one...
"When burglar Franky Fish is breathes in an experimental industrial cleaning chemical during a heist gone awry, he discovers that his body now gives off a strange, highly corrosive, yellowish vapor that he himself is immune. Constructing a containment suit and gas gun to focus his noxious fumes, Franky adopted the name "The Yellow Vapor" and began his career as a super villain. This corrosive criminal is a dangerous opponent for any hero."
