031 - Sun Kid

I was fascinated by the concept of the random character name generators found around the internet. Most of them, however, contained options that were silly or really lame. So I wrote my own generator using Excel (it will soon be posted at my website: [link]).

I thought that a random name generator would be an interesting thing to use to get my brain working, creativity flowing and potentially design interesting new characters. As this is supposed to be a warm up I will try to spend a minimal amount of time on the drawings.

Number 31, the Sun Kid! I thought, why not have his body be a sun... and a heavy cape so that he won't blind everyone he encounters.
